Ziad Bakir - R.I.P.
All tried hard but no one could win.
The DNA results came faster then expected and were shattering the last hopes we had.
And yet - Egypt must have a future so his death was not in vain.
The Minister of Culture has announced that at the Cairo Opera a hall shall be named after Ziad. One day I will sit in that hall and think of him.
My thoughts are with his brave parents, his tireless campaigning sister, his endlessly searching brother and cousin and all that knew and loved him.
May he rest in peace.
